Vestavia Central is a 4th and 5th grade school in the Vestavia Hills City Schools District. Our school has approximately 685 students and 29 classroom teachers. School Hours: 7:55 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Children may enter the building after 7:25 in the morning. School begins at 7:55. Students are tardy after 7:55 and must be signed into school by a parent/guardian or designee. School is dismissed at 2:45 in the afternoon. All students should be picked up by 3:00. Students picked up after 3:15 will need to pick their children up in the office. Opportunities for students to participate in a range of activities are available.
