    Vestavia Hills Elementary East is a public elementary school, Kindergarten through third grade, in the Vestavia Hills City School District. Approximately 800 students attend VHEE.  The school’s vision statement is, “Every Vestavia Hills Elementary East student will learn to his/her potential in a safe environment, while experiencing happiness through social growth at school.”
     
    Vestavia Hills Elementary East is accredited by AdvancEd. Our academic objectives align with the Alabama Course of Study also referred to as College and Career Readiness Standards, or CCRS.
     
     
    SCHOOL HOURS
     
    7:45 AM-2:35 PM
     
    Students may enter the building at 7:15 AM in the morning. 

    Breakfast is served from 7:15 -7:45 AM in the school lunchroom. 

    School begins at 7:45 AM. Students are tardy after 7:55 AM and must be signed in by a parent/guardian or designee.
     
    School is dismissed at 2:35 PM in the afternoon. All students should be picked up by 3:00 PM.
