At Vestavia Hills Elementary East, Science and Social Studies are embedded within other content areas as well as scheduled times to learn through inquiry, hands-on and collaborative group activities. Materials used for Science and Social Studies include hands-on science kits, Studies Weekly publication for Social Studies and other current even publications.   Technology is embedded within all curriculum areas as well.
