FBLA students excel at state conference

FBLA winners April 16, 2019 -- The Vestavia Hills High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members attended the annual Alabama FBLA State Leadership Conference on April 11th and 12th in Birmingham, Alabama. Students attended various leadership workshops, networked with other students and business professionals, and competed in events against 2,000 other Alabama FBLA members from across the state.

Max Velasco placed first in Accounting I; Kendall Tucker placed first in Accounting II; Walter Zhang placed first in Economics; Hanna Sha placed first in Introduction to Business Communication; Ricky Dong placed first in Introduction to Financial Math; Mabel Lyu placed third in Economics; Allison DelFavero placed third in Help Desk; Annabelle Bridges placed fourth in Global Business; Tuc Wilson placed fourth in Securities and Investments.

These students have been invited to compete in the FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in San Antonio, Texas.
