VHCS launches SafeSchools Alert

March 11, 2020 -- Vestavia Hills City Schools is now offering an anonymous tip-reporting service called SafeSchools Alert

This alert system allows students, parents, and employees the opportunity to report school safety concerns including bullying, harassment, weapons, or drugs, as well as other situations that might jeopardize a safe learning environment.

Reporting is easy, and reports can be submitted via text message, phone call, email, or the alert website. You can even download the SafeSchools Alert app from your app store. If you have information about a threat to our safety, do your part and report it. You can remain anonymous.

Please note that the alert system will not be monitored after hours. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.

In an effort to maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment and embrace its leadership role in confronting the problems and challenges that impact the system, youth, and families, Vestavia Hills City Schools is proud to provide this reporting service to its students and other stakeholders.
