As you may have heard, the Alabama State Department of Education released its guidelines today for the reopening of schools.
These guidelines are essential to finalizing our plans for the 2020-21 school year. The guidelines outline considerations for in-person and remote teaching and learning; health and wellness; cleaning and disinfecting; transportation; food service; extracurricular activities; and general school operations.
We are reviewing these important guidelines as we continue to prepare for the start of school on August 13. We will announce our full plans to you in a message during the week of July 13. All information will be shared with you that week via email and on the VHCS website.
Thank you for your unparalleled support as we look ahead to the new school year.
